In early 2017, the musical play, Hamilton An American Musical, first came to SanFrancisco. The song called History Has Its Eyes on You is the 19th song of Act One of Hamilton. The song is sung by President Washington who recounts his first battle experience and explains that no matter your successes, you cannot alter your reputation in others' eyes; that the historic record is always watching and recording.
